Lyons Township High School is hosting a blood drive Thursday, October 20 from 8am to 2pm at the North Campus Vaughan Gym, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange The drive is also open to community members. 

Every pint of blood donated is used to make three pints of blood. Last year, LT blood drives collected hundreds of units for local suburban hospitals.

Experienced, professional, licensed nurses will draw blood. New disposable, sterilized equipment is used for each donation. Donors may pre-register with the Student Activities Office by calling 708-579-7444. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Donors must weight at least 110 pounds and be at least 17-years-old. Students age 16 and younger need parental permission. Students must have a signed parental permission slip located in the Student Activities Office. No piercings or tattoos for one year.
