60-Degree Tuesday, Then 0-Degree Thursday Night
Crazy week of weather ahead! Be on ice watch as a warm rain should fall early on, followed by a ridiculously huge temperature drop.
Weather just doesn't make sense anymore. What machinations of the gods could possibly explain how temperatures this week are forecasted to drop 60 degrees in less than 48 hours?
Whatever the reason, it can only mean one thing when a load of rain is followed by a snap freeze: ice, and lots of it. Better drive really, really carefully in the latter half of this week...
Here's your weather:
Monday: Cloudy with a 40 percent chance of rain during the day, cloudy with a 70 percent chance of rain at night. Mid 40s during the day, high 40s at night.
Tuesday: Cloudy and windy with an 80 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms during the day and into the night. Low 60s during the day, mid 30s at night.
Wednesday: Cloudy and very windy with a 30 percent chance of flurries during the day, mostly cloudy and windy at night. Mid 30s during the day, mid 10s at night.
Thursday: Partly sunny during the day, partly cloudy at night. High 10s during the day, low 0s at night.
Friday: Mostly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Mid 10s during the day, mid 10s at night.

Maybe it's time to find a virgin and toss her into the Mayan weather god's pool down in Chichen Itza in the Yucatan.

The system made me moderate this comment, not sure why. Maybe "virgin" is an instant red-flag, even if the topic is olive oil?
