The Village of La Grange will receive a region-wide spotlight this on Oct. 19 at 10:00 p.m. when it is featured on CBS Channel 2’s “Your Chicago” with Rob Johnson and Kate Sullivan, Village President Liz Asperger announced at Monday night’s La Grange Board of Trustees meeting.

Johnson was in town last week filming various parts of La Grange life, including history, local businesses and Village amenities.

“We invite you all to join in and share our pride in La Grange, its history and its vitality being shared with the Chicago region viewers,” Asperger said.

‘Your Chicago” features Johnson and Sullivan exploring various areas of Chicago and the Chicagoland suburbs to “experience Chicago and its suburbs through the eyes of its viewers” and welcomes viewer suggestions for locations to feature.

The La Grange segment is expected to air Friday, Oct. 19 as part of the 10:00 p.m. newscast.
