Real-Life 'Angry Birds' at Thomas Ford [VIDEO]

The library hosted a real-life version of the popular video game in their basement for kids on Tuesday afternoon.

Is there anybody left alive who isn't familiar with Angry Birds, the super-popular videogame franchise for smartphones and similar devices? Is there anyone out there who has not yet taken finger to screen to hurtle livid avians at their thieving porcine nemeses?

Okay, but how many people have done it life-size?

Well, sort of life-size, anyway, but a dozen or so Western Springs kids got to play around with the titular birds (various modified projectiles,) their slingshot (a two-person-operated towel), pigs (green balloons with painted-on faces) and a variety of building materials (boxes, cups, etc.) this Tuesday afternoon at .
