Gift Cards Stolen from Car
Someone reportedly entered an unlocked car on a driveway on the 4700 block of Central Avenue and stole several gift cards valued at a total of $550. The burglary occurred sometime between Friday, Nov. 30 and this Saturday.
Grate Thefts Come to Western Springs
Someone removed and stole a storm sewer grate located at the corner of Oak Street and Hampton Avenue. The theft was reported at 9:42 a.m. The time of theft and replacement value have not been estimated.
MONDAY, DEC. 3
Illegal Driver I
Arturo Garcia-Gutierrez, 33, of the 2200 block of North Lawler Avenue, Chicago, was stopped at the corner of 47th Street and Johnson Avenue at 7:21 p.m. because police said he was driving with only one headlight. He was charged with driving without a valid license.
Illegal Driver II
Ulises I. Chaves-Eslava, 33, of the 4700 block of South Marshfield Avenue, Chicago, was stopped at the corner of 55th Street and Wolf Road at 3:17 p.m. because police said he was driving a motorcycle without a visible registration plate. He was charged with driving with a suspended license, no registration and no insurance.
Illegal Driver III
Roberto Rosales-Villasenor, 28, of the 5700 block of West 64th Street, Chicago, was stopped at the corner of Lawn and Ogden avenues because police said he was speeding. He was charged with driving without a valid license.
