Look who just popped in to Aurelios Pizzeria in La Grange.? The Nazareth High school girls Pom Pom squad.

How amazing is this technolgy world we live in today!

So the girls were all seated at a long table, chatting away and waiting for their order of Pizzas. I happened to pass their table and noticed they all had the iphones out, chatting and texting. I remarked to one of the girls at the end of a long table, " I suppose you are texting your friend at the end of the table to find out what she wants on her Pizza?" She laughed and knew exactly that is just about what happened or has happened several times in the past."

On further chatting, they revealed they were the Nazarath High school Pom Pom Squad, and they were out to chill after their practice and before their hectic Home coming weekend! So I asked them if they were all on Facebook and I knew as I asked the question it was as dumb a question as Ive ever asked. I was expecting the "DuH!" look and response! but pleasantly receieved an excited "Yes we are" and we saw That "Aurelios,La Grange" is on too and I "liked" it this morning.

So I asked is that what made you decide to come here tonight? and again I knew that was my second Dumb question of the evening? One replied! " No! This is our Fav Place to come...we love the Pizza!" ...'DuH!"

Middle of the table, one of the girls told me " her House was in a Photograph in the "Hinsdale" booth in the restaurant. Its a 150 years old. Those of you that frequent the restaurant will know what I'm talking about.

So I asked them did they want a photo of their Pizza night out at Aurelios?... 'DuH" again I thought , but "No" they all excitedly smiled-  and here they are!.

I walked into the Kitchen and uploaded it to facebook, Before their pizzas were out , I walked past their table to say "Hey - You are all up on facebook" suddenly their was a scrammble for their iphones to check back in to see their pic in the clouds.

I have to point out....what a credit these girls were to their parents and their school, for their Politeness, manners, patience with an old guy trying to sound hip in their world!

Go Nazareth!
