WESTERN SPRINGS PRESENTS THE
LITTLE SWEETHEART DANCE
The Western Springs Recreation Department is offering a Little Sweetheart Dance on Sunday, February 10th, from 2:00pm – 3:30pm at the Grand Ave Gym, 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs.
This is a great dance for parents, grandparents or any special friend and their children. Casual dress is recommended, however your special holiday attire adds to the fun. Make a date with your favorite little sweetheart for an afternoon of refreshments and fun filled dancing to a professional Disc Jockey.
Tickets are $8.00 per couple, $4.00 for an additional sibling or parent if purchased by Friday, February 8th. Tickets at the door are $10.00 per couple, $5.00 for an additional sibling or parent.

More About Grand Avenue Community Center
Celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2010, this two-story building was a public school for 100 years before becoming the village community center it is today. The center has a small indoor basketball court that can also be used as an event hall, and is home to an office of the Western Springs Historical Society and the Western Springs Senior Center. Grand Avenue Preschool and Music Makers also make their home here, and Veterans Memorial Park lies just outside for the kids to play in. In 2011, the building will be receiving a new roof funded by the town.
