Northwestern College to Host Free Criminal Justice Careers Seminar Featuring Veteran Law Enforcement Officials

[Chicago-Jefferson Park, IL]  In its continuing efforts to serve as a resource to local communities that are striving to move residents off the unemployment rolls and into good paying jobs and careers, Northwestern College will continue its series of Free Seminars for both students and members of the public.  The next upcoming seminar will be held on Wednesday, March 19 from 10:00 a.m. till Noon in Room 204 at Northwestern College’s Chicago Campus in Jefferson Park, located at 4811 N. Milwaukee Avenue.  This seminar will highlight careers in Criminal Justice, specifically within law enforcement, and will feature a number of law enforcement professionals who will talk about what they do and what it took for them to achieve their career goals. Speakers will include Anthony (Tony) Caruthers, Commander & Executive Officer of Area Central for the Chicago Police Department (retired) and Sargent Don Flowers, Investigations Division of the Aurora Police Department.  Northwestern College students and interested members of the community are invited to attend, free of charge.

The seminar will be geared towards those entering the job market, those interested in a career change, and those interested in seeking higher education to pursue a career in law enforcement.  There is no better way to learn about a career than by learning via the real world experiences of industry leaders.
