Register now for Grand Avenue Summer Adventure Camps

Get your kids moving this summer and get a few hours to yourself with Grand Avenue Summer Adventure camps for children.  Camps will run from June 3 through August 15 and are divided into three age-specific groups; "All Stars" for children entering 2nd-5th grade, "Champs" for children entering Kindergarten-1st grade and "Preschool Summer Camps" for children ages 3-5.

 “All Stars” and "Champs” Adventure Camps offer half (9am-11:30am) and full day options (9am-3:30pm or 7am-6pm).  Parents can choose two, three, four or five days a week camp options.  Children will enjoy a variety of themed camps throughout the summer including movie making camp, sports camp and more.  All camps also include daily outdoor sports, weekly swimming trips and weekly field trips to exciting destinations, e.g. Museum of Science and Industry, Vertical Endeavors, Bulls/Sox Camp, etc.

"Preschool Summer Camps" are half day camps on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and parents can choose morning or afternoon camp.  Our preschool camps provide active, fun days that inspire the curiosity of your children ages 3-5.  Each themed camp is two weeks in length. This year's themes include Animal Friends, Disney Adventures, Sports Jam and more.

Summer camps will be offered at two locations, Grand Ave Community Center in Western Springs and at the La Grange Highlands Elementary School.  All summer camps are staffed by full-time, experienced Grand Avenue teachers who are certified in Red Cross CPR and First Aid.  All staff are carefully screened prior to employment with full background checks including fingerprinting.
