Western Springs Resident Co-Authors Article in "Illinois Bar Journal"

Western Springs resident Leonard S. Kurfirst, a partner at Surdyk & Baker, Chicago office, and Colin P. O’Donovan, an associate at Edwards Wildman, Chicago office, are the authors of “Fracking Comes to Illinois,” an article which appears in the August 2013 issue of the Illinois Bar Journal, the monthly magazine of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). 

In the article, the authors discuss a new state law approved by the Illinois General Assembly and Governor Quinn that approves hydraulic fracturing, an oil and gas extraction technology commonly known as “fracking,” and how big an economic and environmental impact it might have in Illinois.
