Chance of Flurries Monday, Warmer by Week's End

Residents of the LT area may see their first snowflakes today, but temperatures should be back up around 50 by the weekend.

I don't know about you, but I'm hoping we see a bit more snow this coming winter than we did the last. Not constant, so we're all digging out our cars on a regular basis, but just maybe one or two good storms? Last winter was kind of pathetic, man.

It's possible we might get a good start today, as temperatures are going to take a sudden drastic dive below freezing, especially by night, and there's a chance of a few flakes. Nothing to cover the ground, and certainly nothing that will survive an weekend 50-degree day, but perhaps a harbinger of a whiter winter? We'll see!

Here's your weather:

Monday: Partly cloudy and windy with a chance of scattered flurries during the day, partly cloudy and cold at night. Mid 30s during the day, mid 20s at night.

Tuesday: Sunny during the day, partly cloudy at night. Low 40s during the day, high 20s at night.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy through the day and into the night. Mid 40s during the day, low 30s at night.

Thursday: Partly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. High 40s during the day, low 30s at night.

Friday: Mostly sunny during the day, mostly clear at night. Low 50s during the day, mid 30s at night.

Saturday: Mostly sunny during the day, partly cloudy at night. Low 50s during the day, mid 30s at night.

Sunday: Partly sunny during the day, partly clear at night. High 40s during the day, mid 30s at night.
