Freezing Cold Temperatures All Next Week, Windy Monday

Finally! The warm spell has finally broken and real freezing temperatures have arrived. If you've been waiting for skating weather, it's on its way!

Baby, it's cold outside, and it's about time too!

Look, we like warm weather and not having to shovel snow as much as anyone, but having a second super-mild winter in a row has just been feeling kind of wrong! We could handle one enormous blizzard, just one, and while it doesn't look like that's coming this week, at least the temperatures for it are forecast, and we might get some snow showers midweek, too.

Here's your weather:

Monday: Partly cloudy and blustery during the day, partly cloudy and very cold at night. Low 10s during the day, low 0s at night.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 10s during the day, high 0s at night.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy during the day, mostly cloudy with a chance of flurries at night. Mid 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.

Thursday: Cloudy with a 50 percent chance of snow showers through the day and into the night. Mid 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.

Friday: Cloudy with a slight chance of flurries during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Mid 20s during the day, low 10s at night.

Saturday: Mostly sunny during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 20s during the day, mid 10s at night.

Sunday: Cloudy during the day, mostly cloudy at night. Low 30s during the day, high 20s at night.

No, Darren, we do NOT want a super blizzard. A nice 3" storm in February and then gentle rains in March and April to replenish the groundwater.
