No White Christmas Coming This Year

Well, we hope you were dreaming of a brownish-green Christmas.

Blame global warming, blame the weather gods, blame dumb luck—somehow New England managed to have a white Halloween, for goodness sake—but bar some freak change in the weather systems, there's just no snow on the way this week, and everything from that little flurry on Saturday morning has long-since melted.

But if you want to look on the bright side (and really, isn't that the thing to do this season?), there's nothing to clear from your driveway and no ice to derail the car en route to your gift-buying spree.
