It's Saturday, which means it's time to wrap up the best West Suburban Chicago Patch stories of the week. We've got continuing coverage of the tragic Kelli O'Laughlin case along with some other unfortunate news, but we've also got a rather unique police blotter item from Geneva (scroll down and see!), a cool Elmhurst bakery and a very talented songwriter from Wheaton.

Western Springs—John L. Wilson, Jr. is accused of killing Kelli O'Laughlin, 14, on Oct. 27 with her family's own kitchen knife before using her cell phone to text taunts to her mother.

Burr Ridge—John L. Wilson Jr., 38, of Chicago has been charged with first-degree felony murder in the 14-year-old Indian Head Park resident's death.

Glen Ellyn—The Glen Ellyn Police Department issued an arrest warrant for the ex-husband of Nancy Bustos, the woman found murdered in her Glen Ellyn apartment on Oct. 16.

Hinsdale—The Hinsdale Police Department hopes to file charges against those who provided false information to investigators and shelter to the runaway teen.

Wheaton"Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" Soundtrack to Include Wheaton Songwriter—Ryan O'Neal, singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist for Sleeping at Last wrote a song that will be included in the soundtrack of the newest of the Twilight movies, which opens Nov. 18.

BataviaKane County Mom Sues, Accuses Tobacco Shop of Selling Son 'Dangerous' Product—An Aurora mom's attorney this week filed a wrongful death suit against a local tobacco shop, and she is accusing them of selling her son a type of potpourri labeled as iAroma.

Geneva—Someone took 41 brassieres of various colors and sizes from Victoria’s Secret, 318 Commons Drive, sometime between 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 25, Geneva police reports said.

St. Charles—A city official confirmed that a Schaumburg-based developer will soon pitch a $40 million luxury apartment complex for St. Charles.

Lisle—A motorcyclist is dead after an accident with another motor vehicle near Benedictine University Monday night.

La Grange—Nathan Arger, 32, of La Grange Park entered a plea of not guilty today in federal court before Judge Amy St. Eve on allegations that Arger transported and possessed child pornography.

Elmhurst—The long-awaited Bleeding Heart Bakery is now open for business at 116 S. York St. One look at the product and decor of the new shop and you'll know this is not your average bakery.
