The Gift That Always Fits

Tired of guessing the perfect size or color for a holiday gift? Then consider giving an annual membership to the Western Springs Historical Society. It always fits … and lasts a whole year!

Every week, the Western Springs Historical Society brings local readers a new story about our village’s past. Our volunteers also maintain the historical Water Tower Museum, the restored Ekdahl House museum, an archived collection of photos and documents, and a website filled with useful information about our village's past. We couldn't do any of this without the support of our members.

Sadly, while our town has more than 4,500 households, only 10% are members yet the financial challenge of maintaining our collection has never been greater.

If you are looking for one more stocking stuffer that doesn’t require a trip to the shopping mall, consider giving a loved one a membership in the Western Springs Historical Society. You can choose from the following levels:  Individual ($25), Family ($40), Sustaining ($50), Patron ($100), or Lifetime ($500). Better yet, since the Society is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, such gifts are fully tax deductible.

In the meantime, you can print and clip the photo (above) to tuck inside a card.
