Sign ups are now open for Music and Drama Camp at the Presbyterian Church of Western Springs. This is a very fun summer camp where children will act, sing and work on sets and costumes as they prepare a fun play! Camp runs from June 18-22, with a performance on June 24.
Children will spend the week preparing the musical The Lost Boy by Tom S. Long and Allen Pote. The musical takes place during Jesus’ childhood. Mary and Joseph travel to Jerusalem to present Jesus at the temple. On their way home, they realize that Jesus is not with them! When they return to Jerusalem, they find him in the teaching in the temple.
We will meet at the church Monday through Friday from 2:00-5:00pm to rehearse and work on costumes and sets. The performance will be on Sunday, June 24 at the 9:30 worship service. This camp is open to all children who have completed grades 1-8. The cost is $25 per family for the week.
