Park District Seeks Submissions for '10 Minute Play Festival'

Are you a budding playwright or a seasoned thespian? Either way we want your work! The Community Park District of La Grange Park and the Village of Brookfield are looking for original works for the upcoming 10 Minute Play Festival. 

Submissions are open to all forms of styles and levels of experience. Plays must be no longer than ten minutes (approximately ten pages), written in standard playwriting format, and contain no material unsuitable or unable to be staged. Please include name and contact information on a separate title page so that plays can be judged anonymously.

The festival will be held in the fall of 2014, but we are looking for submissions now. The deadline for play submissions will be May 1. All plays will be reviewed by volunteer experts in playwriting and theatre, and the top ten plays will be included in the festival.

There is NO reading fee. Playwrights whose plays are selected to be in the festival will receive $25 and will retain all rights to their work.
