House Hunt: Five Homes for Sale Built in the ‘80s

… okay, actually, one from the late 1979, but the point is, here's some Western Springs homes with about 20-30 years of mileage from the era of bell-bottoms and hair metal!

How do you remember the ‘80s? Personally, I was only alive for about a quarter of ‘em, which is a pity because I’m rather enamored of the goofy music and various kitsch culture. Everything I’ve ever seen set in the ‘80s just looks so vibrant, before the ’90s became all about grunge and serious business.

We actually couldn’t find five houses in Western Springs for sale that were built in the ‘80s—we found four, and tossed in one from 1979 to round it out. But it’s a condo, so… that counts somehow, right? (Also suggested: reading this while listening to Michael Jackson or Poison or Run D.M.C.)
