Presbyterian Church of Western Springs Welcomes New Organist
The Presbyterian Church of Western Springs welcomes Stephanie Coates as Organist. Stephanie will begin serving at PCWS on Sunday, Sept 29th, at the 9:30 .m. worship. She has been a church organist and/or director of music for over 25 years. Stephanie has degrees in music education from Elmhurst College, and an MM in Accompanying from the University of Akron. In addition, Stephanie has a Service Playing Certificate from the American Guild of Organists, and holds a CAS in Education Leadership from National-Louis University.
Since 1997, she has taught K-6 vocal music in Downers Grove. Prior to her call to PCWS, Stephanie served at Friendship United Methodist Church in Bolingbrook, Grace Lutheran Church in Villa Park and First United Methodist Church in Crown Point (IN).
Stephanie looks forward to offering her gifts at the organ and piano to enhance the worship at PCWS. There will be a reception following worship on September 29 to welcome Stephanie to PCWS.
