There are many advantages to applying to college early.  If you already know what your top choice is, what are you waiting for? Let the University know.  Schools favor students who seem eager to attend over those filing at the last minute. It’s human nature. They want you to want them, too. Also, most college admissions officers will encourage you to get your application in as early as possible for practical reasons, too.  Early application helps ensure the smoothest, most thoughtful processing possible. And by applying early, you are communicating loudly and clearly that you are organized, motivated, and ready for college life.
