Patch Picks: Top Places for Easter Brunch

This Easter you can trade your dirty dishes in for some pampered dining.

Not planning on cooking your own Easter brunch? Your favorite restaurant closed on Sundays, or Sunday mornings? Don't worry—Patch did your research for you! Here's some great places in the Lyons Township area to grab a bite next Sunday morning.

  1. Bring the whole family—kids under 4 eat free. The Hyatt Lodge Oak Brook Hotel, 2815 Jorie Boulevard, Oak Brook, 630-581-6607 (call during business hours). Seatings are every half-hour from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.. There’s a Candyland-themed kids table, a sushi bar, plus multiple food stations that would make even the pickiest eater egg-static. Reservations required.
  2. Rabbit-friendly fare. Prasino, 93 South LaGrange Road, La Grange, 708-469-7058. Open from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.. Choices include favorites from their eco-chic menu, plus some creatively satisfying specials.
  3. Opens way before the Easter Bunny gets out of bed. Willow Hills, 6678 Joliet Road, La Grange, 708-783-1089. Open from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m... It’s a diner with a large menu of home-style foods (but you don’t have to do the dishes).
  4. Meatless Sunday. Braxton Seafood Grill, 3 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, 630-574-2155. Open from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.. The chefs will be serving up everything from omelettes to opah. Reservations recommended.
  5. Mimosa anyone? Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurant, 510 Village Center Drive, Burr Ridge, 630-887-0123. Open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.. Celebrate the grape with one of their signature wines while you dine.
