Advent Fair & Alternative Giving Event

There will  be an array of alternative giving options following worship at 9:30 a.m.  While doing some shopping, your purchases support local and world focused organizations. 

Purchasing an animal, or a whole menagerie,  supports people in need through Heifer Project  International.  Help individuals or communities while supporting Church World Service.  If you wish to make a donation in honor of someone special this holiday season, Honor cards will be available.

There will be lovely items handmade by artisans in countries ranging from South American to Southeast Asia.  We have items such as jewelry, scarves, candle holders and holiday ornaments from SERRV a global organization helping artisans around the world. 

Fair trade chocolate will be on hand (while quantities last): dark chocolate mint thins, dark chocolate bars (the healthy chocolate) and new this year milk chocolate Advent calendars. 

If you, or a friend, need a beautiful, practical tote bag we have just the ticket.  Purchase one for home use or as a holiday present, these handmade bags from Africa help support the O’Brien school in Tanzania. 

Donate toward purchasing $20 Target gift cards to be given to Maria Shelter or Believe Family residents. 

You may make a donation to the Christmas Joy Offering, benefiting the PCWS Benevolence Fund and our Denominational Racial/Ethnic schools and Retired Pastors fund.
