Area residents are encouraged to attend this fun, energizing celebration to learn more about Relay For Life. Information will be available on a wide variety of topics including team formation, volunteer opportunities, survivor and caregiver activities, and 2012 highlights. Refreshments will be served.
Relay For Life is an overnight event to “Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back.” Teams from local businesses, schools, churches, community groups and families build awareness and raise funds - prior to and at the event - to fight cancer and save lives faster. Relay For Life of Lyons Township High School will be June 8-9, 2013.
Volunteers are needed to organize and recruit teams, secure community support, coordinate logistics, obtain refreshments and prizes, assist with publicity and plan entertainment activities for this exciting and energizing event.
