Voices Against Brain Cancer
will host their annual Join the Voices! Chicago Run/Walk on Sunday, May 4, 2014
in Lincoln Park at 8:15 a.m.
The charitable event will feature a 5K run, a
scenic walk, kids races and a fun family festival. Help raise funds for VABC and promote their
mission: to find a cure for brain cancer
by advancing scientific research, increasing awareness within the medical
community, and supporting patients, their families and caregivers afflicted
with this devastating disease. Funds raised will go towards cancer research.
Local Resident and Brain Cancer Survivor, Michelle "Shelle" Albrecht of Western Springs, IL will be honored with the Courage Award at the event.
