Knit and Crochet Group

This summer a group of girls and women have gathered as their time and schedules permit to learn to knit and crochet, to teach those who are learning, and to work on projects they have in progress. Some are learning in order to create a prayer shawl; others are simply willing to teach another and work on something that’s in their own stash. We’ve seen sweaters, shawls, socks and dishcloths in the making.

You’re welcome to join us at any time. We meet on Tuesday evenings in the Graham Charter Room at 7:00 p.m. If you’re learning and would like to bring some supplies, a medium to large pair of knitting needles or crochet hook and some smooth, worsted weight yarn is all you need to get started.
