Western Springs Wrestler Commits to Purdue

Peter Andreotti was among the six Marist High School student-athletes who signed national letters of intent last week.

Western Springs resident Peter Andreotti is among six Marist High School student-athletes who signed national letters of intent on Nov. 15, according to a release from the school.

Andreotti will wrestle at Purdue University in 2014-15 along with teammate Mario Leveille, of Mt. Greenwood, who also signed his letter of intent last week. 

Andreotti is a two time state-placer, finishing fifth at 160 lbs. in 2013 and sixth at 152 lbs. in 2012.

Leveille is a two-time state qualifier.

Other Marist student-athletes who signed letters of intent Nov. 15 were softball players Brooke Wyderski, of Justice, who committed to Loyola University, and Julie Trellicoso, of Beverly, who committed to St. Ambrose University (IA); and volleyball players Molly Mayo, of Oak Lawn, who committed to Wofford College (SC), and Bridget Krasowski, of Oak Lawn, who committed to St. Joseph’s College (IN).
