It's FLU season and everyone is getting hit HARD. Most people are coming down with the bug or know at least a few people who have been out for a week because of the nasty virus. So here is a list of the best flu-fighting foods, so you can prevent the flu this season or if you have been one of the unlucky ones, you can get on the road to recovery faster.

Raw Garlic- Flavor your dinner dishes or buy the supplement

Onions- Add to salads, sandwiches, stir fries

Cloves- Add to mug of hot cider or tea

Cinnamon- Add to your oatmeal, yogurt, or tea/coffee

Tumeric- Mix into your stir fry for dinner

Berries- Add to your yogurt, cereal, or eat plain

Spinach- Make a delicious salad, add to your morning omelette

Raw Honey- Add to your tea, spread on your toast, add to your yogurt

Ginger- Mix into your dinner dishes

Cayenne Pepper- Add to your eggs, stir fries

Ginseng Root- Add to tea or take in supplement form
