  • Barbara Hilpp (nee Goddard), 71, formerly of La Grange. A docent for the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago and the Nettie J. McKinnon Collection, she also lectured on Oriental Rugs.
  • Ronald L. Martin, 90, of La Grange. The internationally-recognized scientist was also a veteran who served in World War II.
  • Michele C. Meredith (nee Forey), of La Grange Park. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
  • Mary Helen Meadowcroft Kelly of Western Springs. Memorials for the former teacher, who spent part of her career teaching in the Canadian Artic, can be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
  • Aleksandras A. Strikas, 22, of La Grange. Memorials can be made to St. Ignatius College Prep, designate the Aleksandras A. Strikas Memorial Scholarship Fund, Chicago (attention to John Chandler).

  • Marjorie D. Zamora (nee Dixon), 79, of Western Springs. The former teacher also serviced in the U.S. Peace Corps from 1962 to 1964.
