Parking Lot FenderA Western Springs man in a BMW backed into a Naperville woman in a Nissan Sentra driving through a parking lot around 10 a.m. in the 800 block of Hillgrove Avenue. No one was injured or charged.

Failure to Reduce SpeedPolice charged Jenna Galecki, 29, of La Grange, with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after she rear-ended a 2012 VW Passat in her Nissan Versa around 7:50 a.m. in the 5900 block of Wolf Road. No one was injured.

Cars Back into Each Other on 52nd PlaceTwo cars backed into each other on 52nd Place near Ellington Avenue just before noon. One of the cars, a 2005 GMC, was driven by a 35-year-old Western Springs woman, who had four children in the car with her. The other car, a 2004 Serling, was driven by a 36-year-old Aurora man. No one was injured or charged, police said.
Improper Backing, Driving Without InsurancePolice charged Ashley DeCarlo, 23, of Countryside, with improper backing and driving without insurance after she backed out of a parking spot and into another car in the 4700 block of Gilbert Avenue around 10:15 a.m. DeCarlo had two passengers, including a 23-year-old Winfield woman and a 3-year-old. No one was injured.

Man Loses Control of Car, Sustains Minor InjuriesA New Lenox man sustained minor injuries after he lost control of his car on Lawn Avenue and hit a curb, signs and a fence around 9:30 p.m.
Mitchell Hart, 24, told police he was driving east in the 700 bock of 55th Street in the inside lane of traffic when his car began to pull to the right. As a response, he turned the wheel all the way to the left, crossing the westbound lanes, and ran into a curb, struck a traffic signal and a speed limit sign in the 700 block of Lawn Avenue, then hit a backyard fence in the 5400 block of Lawn Avenue, police said.
Hart was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without insurance and driving in the wrong lane.
