Illegal transportation of alcohol

Anthony J. Beavers, 23, of the 3000 block of Tangley Oaks Trail in Lisle, was arrested around 7:30 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294, police said. Officers stopped Beavers for speeding and charged him with driving with a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol.

No valid license

Raymondo D. Servin-Guerrero, 35, of the 00 block of North Andersen Street in Aurora, was arrested around 9:39 a.m. near the intersection of Ogden and Gilbert avenues, police said. He was stopped for speeding and charged with driving without a valid license.

Woman Found Not Guilty in Hit-and-Run

Jeannette C. Hans, 49, of the 4900 block of Central Avenue in Western Springs, was found not guilty on July 9 of all charges stemming from a February incident in Western Springs. She had been arrested around 9:12 a.m. Feb. 28 on the 700 block of 51st Street, police said. At the time, police said Hans struck the back of a car whose driver was dropping off her daughter at St. John of the Cross Parish School. Hans was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, according to the report, but Judge Maureen Daley found Hans not guilty based on a lack of evidence.

Tuesday, Feb. 26

Theft from Dominick’s

Lorreen Cure, 37, of the 7900 block of West 81st Street in Bridgeview, was arrested around 12:55 p.m. at the Western Springs Police Department, police said. Cure turned herself in after a Feb. 11 incident during which police said she took less than $150 worth of merchandise from the 47th Street Dominick’s. She was charged with retail theft.

Suspended license

Christine M. Konecki-Kestian, 45, of the 5200 block of West 122nd Street in Alsip, was arrested around 9:33 a.m. in the 5100 block of Gilbert Avenue, police said. She was charged with failing to signal and driving with a suspended license.

Monday, Feb. 25

No valid license

Miguel A. Lopez, 34, of the 1400 block of North Kildare Avenue in Chicago, was arrested around 9:17 a.m. near the intersection of Ogden and Gilbert avenues, police said. He was stopped for speeding and charged with driving without a valid license.
