La Grange Police: Third Incident of a Suspicious White Van Reported

La Grange police received a report of another suspicious white van, this time parked outside Seventh Avenue School, 701 S. Seventh Ave., LaGrange.
It was the third such sighting within 10 days. which took place Sept. 20, an employee waited 90 minutes to report the presence of the windowless van, which was stopped near the school's recess area. When the employee approached the vehicle, it drove south on Eighth Avenue, LaGrange police said.
On Sept. 11, at the corner of 52nd Street and 7th Avenue in La Grange. The boy fled and told his mother, who alerted police.

The second incident occurred on Sept. 17 when a 14-year-old boy reported he was approached at La Grange Highlands Middle School by a 60- to 70-year-old tall white man, bald and clean-shaven, driving a white van. A similar incident had occurred a month earlier, the boy told Indian Head Park police.
The Doings Western Springs reported today that police do not believe the incidents are related.
