Man Charged With Fleeing Late-Night Accident After Striking Sign

FRIDAY, NOV. 29
Rear-End Accident
Marina Andon, 70, of the 9700 block of South 82nd Court, Hickory Hills, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after rear-ending with her 1987 Volvo 240 Series a 2013 Acura RDX that had slowed for a right-turning vehicle ahead on eastbound Ogden Avenue near Central Avenue at 2:39 p.m.
No injuries were reported, but both vehicles were damaged.
Improper Lane Use
Cara A. Tenerelli, 18, of the 0-100 block of Harris Avenue, Clarendon Hills, was cited for improper lane usage after striking with her 2004 Toyota Sequoia a 2013 Toyota Venza while changing lanes on eastbound 55th Street near Grand Avenue at 3:38 p.m., police said.
No injuries were reported, but both vehicles were damaged.
THURSDAY, NOV. 28
Man Flees Late-Night Accident
Shaun T. Sullivan, 21, of the 4400 block of Clausen Avenue, Western Springs, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after his 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan left the roadway while heading west in the 1100 block of Hillgrove Avenue at 1:43 a.m., went into a 7-Eleven parking lot, and struck a sign.
Sullivan left the scene without providing any information. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle involved was damaged.
TUESDAY, NOV. 26
Rear-End Accident
Paula D. Hendrickson, 62, of the 13600 block of Montclaire Place, Bradenton, FL, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after she rear-ended with her 2010 Mazda 3 a 2003 Land Rover in the 3800 block of Wolf Road at 7:31 p.m.
No injuries were reported, but both vehicles were damaged.
MONDAY, NOV. 25
1 Injured in Rear-End Crash
Ryan P. Rowley, 20, of the 0-100 block of Hampton Court, Burr Ridge, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after rear-ending with his 2004 Toyota Land Cruiser a 2003 Nissan Altima in the 4600 block of Wolf Road at 5 p.m.
A passenger in the Nissan was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both vehicles were damaged.
