"Suspicious" Underage Drinking

An 18-year-old Western Springs man was issued a local ordinance citation for underage consumption of alcohol after police said he was "acting suspiciously" on the 5300 block of Central Avenue at 11:32 p.m.


Illegal Driver

Michelle M. Small, 42, of the 3300 block of Wenonah Avenue, Berwyn, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Ogden Avenue and I-294 at 1:05 p.m. and charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.

Man Turns Himself In for Hit-and-Run

Miodrag Nenadic, 50, of the 1900 block of North Cleveland Avenue, Chicago, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to provide information at an accident, police said. He turned himself in at the Western Springs Police Department at 11:35 a.m. in relation to a Feb. 17 hit-and-run accident on the 5300 block of Woodland Avenue, police said.


Truck Driving Goes Wrong

Mykhalo Zhmud, 52, of the 2400 block of W. Cortez Avenue, Chicago, was charged with improper operation of a commercial motor vehicle after police responded to a report of a truck disabled at the corner of Ogden and Central avenues at 1:09 p.m., police said


Pot at LTHS South

A 17-year-old La Grange Park boy was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of cannabis after police said he was found in possession of the drug at Lyons Township High School South Campus at 2:10 p.m., police said.
