The La Grange Fire Department confirmed on Thursday that the two people killed in a house fire early Saturday morning on the 900 block of Kensington Avenue were Roland Martin, 90, and Eleanor Martin, 91, husband and wife.

According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, Roland Martin died from a combination of carbon monoxide intoxication and an inhalation of smoke and soot and Eleanor Martin from inhalation injuries, both caused by the house fire.
