Saturday, March 30
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Allan Legear, 18, of the 8700 block of Plainfield Road in Lyons, was arrested around 10:50 p.m. in the 4700 block of Wolf Road, Western Springs police said. Legear was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for a minor traffic violation, police said. Officers smelled marijuana coming from the car and during a search found a glass pipe in Legear’s pocket, as well as a grinder in the car’s glove compartment, according to the report. Legear was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

DUI near Ogden and Interstate 294
Robert K. Mintz, 42, of the 1400 block of South Lombard Avenue in Lombard, was arrested around 1:18 a.m. near Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294, police said. Officers pulled Mintz over for speeding and said that he had glassy, bloodshot eyes, as well as slurred speech. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after officers administered a series of field sobriety tests.

Suspended license
Priscilla M. Hernandez, 25, of the 6000 block of South Kensington Avenue in Countryside, was arrested around 1:36 p.m. near the intersection of Wolf Road and Ogden Avenue, police said. She was charged with driving while license suspended.
Tuesday, March 26
Marijuana possession
Santino Martinez, 34, of the 00W400 block of Mockingbird Lane in Willowbrook, was arrested around 2:43 p.m. near the intersection of Ogden and Gilbert avenues, police said. After officers pulled Martinez over for speeding, they discovered what they believed to be marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia, according to the report. Martinez was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, no insurance and speeding, police said.

Obstructing a police officer
Angela M. Ramos, 56, of the 6800 block of Joliet Road in Indian Head Park, was arrested around 11:51 a.m. near the intersection of 41st Street and Gilbert Avenue, police said. Officers stopped Ramos because they said her car had an expired registration sticker. She intentionally gave officers fake personal information during the stop, police said, resulting in a charge of obstructing a police officer. She was also charged with driving while license revoked, no insurance and expired registration.
