New House Graffitied

Someond defaced exterior stone pillars and a portable toilet located outside a newly-constructed private home with spray paint on the 4200 block of Linden Avenue. The incident ocurred sometime between Saturday and Sunday. The cost of the damage was $300.

Underage Drinker in Springdale

A 17-year-old La Grange boy was accosted by an officer on the 300 block of 53rd Street at 1:24 a.m. after a suspicious-person call and charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor, police said.

Hit and Run in Three-Car Crash

Arvis D. Anderson, 43, of th 5900 block of South Paulina Avenue, Chicago, was charged at 5:51 a.m. with two counts of leaving the scene of a property damage accident, two counts of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, failure to report an accident, and driving without insurance after a crash that occurred at the corner of Ogden and Clausen avenues, police said. The defendant struck two other vehicles with his car and left the scene of the crash, police said. He was later located in Schiller Park. No one was injured in the crash, but one of the vehicles had to be towed.

FRIDAY, NOV. 2

Alcohol Underage in Ridgewood

Two 17-year-old Western Springs boys and a 16-year-old Burr Ridge boy were approached by an officer on the 1000 block of Longmeadow Lane at 9:47 p.m. and issued local ordinance citations for consumption of alcohol by minors, police said.

Battery Charge in August Incident

Denis C. Krause, 74, of the 5000 block of Woodland Avenue, was arrested at the police department at 1:30 p.m. and charged with battery in an incident that occurred on the same block on Aug. 4, police said. Police said an investigation has confirmed his role in the incident and that the victim was not injured.
