There's an "Erratic" Opossum Outside!

A La Grange woman called police to tell them there was an opossum acting erratically outside her window around 8:20 a.m. May 27.

Caller Reports Woman Peeing Her Pants

Someone reported seeing a woman in a brown shirt urinating in her pants and lifting up her shirt at the bench at Hillgrove Avenue and La Grange Road around 1:30 p.m. May 26.

"I Have an Ounce and a Half of Weed (in My Pants)"

Police charged Tommy Gumbus, 36, of Bolingbrook with marijuana possession, possession with intent to deliver more than 30 grams and failure to signal.Police smelled pot in Gumbus' car and noticed his pants were undone during a traffic stop at 1290 Des Plaines Avenue around 3:30 p.m. May 22.

He told police he had "an ounce and a half of weed" in his pants, and that he'd undone his pants to try and hide it. Police found two bags of marijuana totaling about 44 grams in his pants and $143 in cash, police said. He told police he stole the marijuana from a car outside of a barber shop in Bolingbrook and that he was going to sell it for $200-$300. He was processed and given a June 13 court date.

Timothy Miller, 54, of Chicago was charged with felony retail theft for stealing $235 in olive oil from Whole Foods, 7245 W. Lake St. in River Forest around 2:15 p.m. on May 26.
