Accident on Wolf Road

A 24-year-old La Grange woman in a Pontiac Sunfire hit a Nissan Murano around 9:50 p.m. in the 4300 block of Wolf Road. No one was injured, police said.

Wednesday, June 26

One Hospitalized After Teen Hits Tree

A 16-year-old girl from Western Springs was taken to La Grange Memorial Hospital with minor injuries after another teen hit a tree around 9:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Gilbert Avenue, police said. 

The driver, a 16-year-old girl from La Grange, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Police said the driver didn't turn far enough when turning onto Gilbert from Ogden Avenue, causing her to hit the tree. The third person in the car was a 16-year-old boy from La Grange, who was not injured, police said.

Hit and Run

  • Someone hit a parked 2012 Mercedes around 4:45 p.m. in the Garden Market lot, 4700 Gilbert Ave.
  • Someone hit a parked Toyota Sienna around 1:40 p.m. in the 4300 block of Franklin Avenue and left the scene.
