Pair of Rear-End Accidents Reported

SUNDAY, SEPT. 8

18-Year-Old Driver Cited


An 18-year old woman Westchester was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said, after she rear-ended with her 2001 Infiniti QX4 a 2007 Toyota Avalon driven by a 55-year-old woman from Western Springs on northbound Wolf Road near Ogden Avenue at 4:04 p.m.

The 18-year-old suffered minor injuries, but refused a hospital transport.

TUESDAY, SEPT. 3

LA Man Rear-Ends Western Springs Driver


Police said a 54-year-old man from Los Angeles was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after he rear-ended with his 1999 Honda Accord a 2009 Ford Expedition driven by a 43-year-old man from Western Springs on northbound Wolf Road near Burlington Avenue at 11:11 a.m.

There were no injuries reported.
