Police Blotter: $4,000 Bike Stolen, Strange Man Freaks Out Citizen

Thursday, Oct. 27, 4:37 p.m.; Theft: Someone stole an unlocked boy's bicycle officially valued at $4,000 from a bike rack at Lyons Township High School South Campus. The theft occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Citations/Charges

Monday, Oct. 24, 4:32 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, Speeding: Jose N. Flores, 36, of 5107 W. Strong St., Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Harvey Avenue and Ogden Avenue and arrested for driving without a driver's license.

Saturday, Oct. 29, 9:27 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, Speeding, No Insurance: Agustin Segura-Olivares, 22, of 3032 S. Keeler Ave., Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the forner of 51st Street and Wolf Road and arrested for driving without a driver's license.

Sunday, Oct. 30, 4:58 a.m.; DUI Alcohol, DUI B.A.C. of 0.08 or More, Speeding: Francesca M. Nava, 23, of 4120 W. 25th St., Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Howard Avenue for speeding; after an officer noticed the defendant showed signs of inebriation, defendant was given field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Sunday, Oct. 30, 9:35 a.m.; Disorderly Conduct: Markien J. Skimik, 27, of 9 Ridge Farm Road, Burr Ridge, was arrested for disorderly conduct after erratically approaching a citizen on the 900 block of Burlington Avenue in a way that "alarmed and disturbed" the citizen. No physical conflict was involved in the altercation.
