Willowbrook Motorist Gets Two Charges Against Him

Raymond R. Olvera, 25, of 6142 Knollwick Rd., Willowbrook, was stopped at the corner of 55th Street and Gilbert Avenue at 5:03 p.m. and charged with speeding over the posted limit and driving with a revoked license.

Police Answer Call About Forest Hills Drinking Party

Two Western Springs 19-year-old men and a 15-year-old Western Springs girl were cited at 11:30 p.m. in connection with what police called an underage drinking party on the 5400 block of Fair Elms Avenue after receiving a complaint. The men were each cited for underage consumption of alcohol; the girl was cited for both underage possession and consumption of alcohol.

Underage Drinking Citations in Ridgewood, Too

Three 15-year-old Indian Head Park boys were stopped by an officer while walking on the 5500 block of Wolf Road at 10:34 p.m. One was cited for underage possession and consumption of alcohol while the other two were issued citations for consumption only.

FRIDAY, JULY 13

Illicit Pipe at LT South

A 17-year-old La Grange boy was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after police said they found a "brass smoking pipe that was used for illicit substance purposes" at Lyons Township High School South Campus at 12:11 p.m.

THURDSAY, JULY 12

Speeding, Bad License Charges for Bolingbrook Driver

Keshia R. Steele, 25, of 106 Creekside Dr., Bolingbrook, was stopped at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Gilbert Avenue at 7:31 a.m. and charged with  speeding and driving with a suspended license. 

MONDAY, JULY 9

More Underage Drinking Cited; Fairview Estates This Time

An 18-year-old Western Springs boy, two 17-year-old La Grange boys and a 16-year-old Willow Springs boy were all cited for consumption of alcohol by a minor after police said they were observed dumping bags of litter at the corner of 48th Street and Wolf Road at 11:30 p.m. According to police, they had been drinking.

Police Find Pot and Bong While Investigating Disturbance

A 15-year-old Western Springs boy was issued local ordinance citations for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia after officers responding to a "minor verbal domestic disturbance" on the 4700 block of Wolf Road said they found cannabis and a "glass smoking pipe used for illicit substance purposes."

$8,000 in Recent Credit Fraud

An unknown offender used the personal information of a victim on the 1100 block of Pin Oak Drive to open three fraudulent credit accounts totaling $8,000. Police said the activity occurred "recently," but not at any specific time. The crime was reported at 4:04 p.m.

Cicero Motorist Charged with Two Offenses

Jadiel Ceballos, 34, of 1836 S. 58th Ave., Cicero, was stopped on the 3900 block of Wolf Road at 10:50 a.m. and charged with failing to signal and with driving without a license.
