Fight Leads to Alcohol Citation

An 18-year-old Willow Springs man was issued a local ordinance citation for being a minor in possession of alcohol at 1:37 a.m. after police were called and responded to a "fight in progress" near the corner of Grand Avenue and Hillgrove Avenue. No other arrests or injuries were reported.

Disturbance at Train Station

A 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, both of Indian Head Park, were issued local ordinance citations at 12:50 p.m. for "alarming and causing a disturbance" to others at the downtown Western Springs train station.

Trailer Stolen from Commonwealth

A locked and unattended construction box trailer parked on a public roadway on the 5000 block of Commonwealth Avenue was stolen with all contents, including various tools and equipment, sometime between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. The value of the theft was valued at $5,700.
