Police Blotter: Debit Card Fraud, Parked Car Hit by Illegal Driver

Incidents/Reports

Wednesday, Mar. 30, 11:00 a.m.; Theft: Someone stole an iPod Touch left unattended at Lyons Township High School South on Tuesday. The iPod was valued at $300.

Saturday, Apr. 2, 11:16 a.m.; Theft:  A boy's bicycle left unlocked and unattended at Clark Park was stolen between 5:00 p.m. on Friday and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The bike was valued at $200.

Saturday, Apr. 2, 11:59 a.m.; Debit Card Fraud: An unknown person was reported to have made $406.14 worth of fraudulent purchases using a person's personal debit card number sometime on Friday. The report came from the 4200 block of Western Avenue.

Charges/Citations

Thursday, Mar. 31, 12:05 a.m.; Driving While License Suspended, No Insurance, Improper Use of Registration, Disobeyed Stop Sign: Quintrella B. Moore, 20, of 6510 Keating Ave., Chicago, was stopped on the 3900 block of Wolf Road for running a stop sign and found to be driving with a suspended license.

Thursday, Mar. 31, 4:46 p.m.: No Valid Driver's License: Gabriel Perez-Castillo, 24, of 18W150 Kirkland Ave., Villa Park, was arrested after he crashed into a parked vehicle on the 900 block of Burlington Avenue and was found to be driving without a license.

Friday, Apr. 1, 12:50 a.m.; Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: An 18-year-old Brookfield man and a 17-year-old La Grange Park girl were stopped for suspicious driving on the 4000 block of Forest Avenue and were found to have been drinking. Both were issued citations for underage consumption of alcohol.

Saturday, Apr. 2, 9:10 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, No Insurance, Speeding: Zelko Z. Trnjanac, 24, of 3218 S. Landl Ln., Milwaukee, WI, was stopped at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Gilbert Avenue for speeding over the posted limit and was found to be driving without a license.
