Citations/Charges

Tuesday, Jan. 3, 10:41 a.m.; No Valid Driver's License, No Insurance, Fail to Signal: Alejandro Sandoval, 36, of 2522 S. Christina Ave., Chicago, was stopped on the 4800 block of Johnson Avenue for failure to signal and was charged with driving without a valid license.

Tuesday, Jan. 3, 10:26 p.m.: Driving While License Suspended, Speeding: Terrance R. Wilborn, 25, of 8155 S. Peoria Ave., Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the intersection of 39th Street and Harvey Avenue and was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Wednesday, Jan. 4, 8:11 a.m.: No Valid Driver's License, No Valid Registration, Fail to Yield at Stop Intersection: Danuta Z. Kaminska, 27, of 7810 S. Melvina Ave., Burbank, was stopped at the corner of 42nd Street and Johnson Avenue for failure to yield to another vehicle and was charged with driving without a license and registration.

Wednesday, Jan. 4, 11:09 a.m.: Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Possession of Alcohol by a Minor: A 21-year-old Western Springs woman, a 19-year-old Indian Head Park woman and an 18-year-old Indian Head Park woman were stopped for "acting suspiciously" at the corner of 46th Street and Howard Avenue and issued local ordinance citations relating to the older woman's having gived the younger two packages of alcoholc drinks. The 21-year-old was issued a citation for contribution to delinquency; the other two women were cited for possession of alcohol by a minor.

Friday, Jan. 6, 4:27 p.m.: Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: A 17-year-old Western Springs boy was found to be in possession of an item of drug paraphernalia after the car in which he was a passenger was stopped for a traffic violation at the corner of 46th Street and Howard Avenue.

Friday, Jan. 6, 9:25 p.m.: Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: Seven (7) underage defendants were issued local ordinance citations for underage consumption of alcohol after police responded to reports of an underage drinking party on the 5600 block of Ridgewood Drive; the defendants were stopped while walking on the 1100 block of Birch Lane. Those issued LOCs were a 17-year-old Western Springs boy, a 17-year-old La Grange boy, a 16-year-old La Grange Park boy, a 16-year-old Indian Head Park boy, a 15-year-old La Grange boy and a 15-year-old La Grange girl.

Saturday, Jan. 7, 4:05 a.m.: Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor, No Valid Driver's License, Curfew Violation, Fail to Signal When Required: Two 15-year-old Western Springs boys, a 16-year-old La Grange girl and a 17-year-old Countryside boy were issued local ordinance citations after the vehicle they were in was stopped at the corner of Elm Street and Grand Avenue for failure to signal when required. One 15-year-old, who was driving, was issued an LOC for driving without a license. Both 15-year-olds and the 16-year-old were also issued LOCs for violation of curfew. All four were issued LOCs for underage consumption of alcohol.

Saturday, Jan. 7, 2:53 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, No Insurance, Speeding: Jose Sanchez-Lueuanos, 33, of 17W543 Schiller St., Villa Park, was stopped for speeding on the 3800 block of Wolf Road and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Sunday, Jan. 8, 1:23 a.m.; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Matthew T. Reschke, 26, of Willow Springs, was charged after being found asleep in a parked vehicle with the engine running on the 5200 block of Woodland Avenue; a consent search found a "glass smoking paraphernalia pipe" in his trunk.
