Incidents/Reports

Monday, Aug. 15, 4:22 p.m.; Debit Fraud: Someone used the personal debit card number of a victim on the 4700 block of Franklin Avenue to make approximately $101 in unauthorized retail purchases in July and August.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 7:23 a.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft: An unknown person entered an unlocked vehicle parked in the Recreation Center parking lot sometime between 7:10 and 7:15 a.m. and stole a wallet contining a cell phone, credit cards, I.D. documents and a "small amount" of cash.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 7:33 a.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft, Criminal Damage to Vehicle: An unknown person forced entry into a locked car parked in the lot of the Western Springs Service Club (Western Springs Pool) sometime between 6:00 a.m. and 7:28 a.m. and stole a purse containing $40, a cell phone, credit cards and various I.D. documents.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 7:59 a.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft, Criminal Damage to Vehicle: An unknown person forced entry into a locked car parked in the lot of the Western Springs Service Club (Western Springs Pool) sometime between 6:05 a.m. and 7:28 a.m. and stole a purse containing $25, a cell phone, credit cards and various I.D. documents.

Charges/Citations

Monday, Aug. 15, 8:23 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, No Rear Registration Plate Light: Francisco J. Prado-Montes, 30, of 1625 S. 49th Ave., Cicero was stopped at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Ellington Avenue for driving without a rear license plate light and found to be driving without a license.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 1:53 a.m.; Posession of Cannabis, Improper Walking on Highway: Anthony M. Rodriguez, 18, of 731 County Line Rd., Hinsdale, was stopped after an officer found him walking along the side of Interstate 294 near Ogden Avenue and acting suspiciously. The officer smelled marijuana on the defendant's breath and found suspected cannabis in his posession.

Sunday, Aug. 21, 8:53 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, No Insurance, Improper Use of Registration, Driving Without Headlights: Guadalupe Lopez, 35, of 5611 S. Richmond Ave., Chicago was stopped for driving without headlights at the corner of Ogden Avenue and I-294 and found to be driving without a license.

Sunday, Aug. 21, 11:54 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, Speeding, Only One Headlamp: Alexis L. Cabrera, 36, of 1111 Wadsworth Ave., North Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Johnson Avenue and found to be driving without a license.
