Police Blotter: Pipes Stolen from Basement, Disruptive Behavior in Garden Market

Thursday, Jul. 14, 11:24 a.m.; Residential Burglary: Someone entered an unoccupied residence on the 3800 block of Forest Avenue and stole approximately 100 feet of copper pipe from the basement. The burglary happened sometime between 5:00 p.m. on Monday and 11:20 a.m. on Thursday.

Wednesday, Jul. 13, 3:21 a.m.; Consumption of Alcohol by Minors: A 19-year-old Western Springs man and a 19-year-old La Grange Park man were stopped on the 1200 block of Chestnut Avenue and charged with drinking an alcoholic beverage.

Wednesday, Jul. 13, 12:23 a.m.; Driving With a Suspended Registration, Speeding: Alexander Sandoval, 34, of 2626 Wellington Ave., Westchester, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Wolf Road and Ogden Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended registration.
Thursday, Jul. 14., 12:23 a.m.; Driving While License Suspended, No Rear Registration Plate Light: Rose E. Tinoco, 42, of 3935 Center Ave., Lyons, was stopped at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Grand Avenue for not having a functioning rear registration plate light and was charged with driving with a suspended license.
Thursday, Jul. 14., 11:42 p.m.; Disorderly Conduct: A 24-year-old Dekalb man was issued a local ordinance citation for "disruptive behavior that caused alarm to others" in the parking lot of the Garden Market Shopping Center (4700 Gilbert Ave.).
Saturday, Jul. 16., 2:53 p.m.; Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor: A 20-year-old La Grange man was stopped on the 1200 block of Chestnut Street and charged with consuming an alcoholic beverage.
Saturday, Jul. 16., 9:14 p.m.; Driving While License Suspended, Arrest Warrant, Only One Headlight: Yalanda De La Mora, 42, of 223 S. Quincy St., Hinsdale, was stopped at the corner of 47th Street and Commonwealth Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license, as well as arrested on an outstanding warrant for a DuPage County traffic violation.
