Police Blotter: Same Woman Arrested Three TImes, Attempted Burglary in Ridge Acres

Incidents/Reports

Monday, Oct. 7, 7:50 a.m.; Apparent Attempted Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property: An unknown person appears to have attempted to break into an empty, locked home on the 4400 block of Clausen Avenue. The offender used a "prying-type tool" to attempt to break through the home's front door sometime between 4:50 p.m. Sunday and 7:00 a.m. Monday, but was unsuccessful and did not gain entry to the home.

Citations/Charges

Monday, Nov. 7, 11:05 p.m.; Arrest Warrant: Anna H. Metodieva, 45, of 907 Williams St., Westmont, was arrested on an outstanding warrant from DuPage County after being noticed by an officer "behaving suspiciously" in the parking lot of Laidlaw Elementary. (First arrest.)

Thursday, Nov. 10, 10:21 p.m.; No Valid Driver's License, Disobeyed Stop Sign: Leobardo Torres, 40, of 1526 W. 18th Pl., Chicago, was stopped for disobeying a stop sign at the 300 block of 55th Street and charged with driving without a driver's license.

Saturday, Nov. 12, 12:44 a.m., Criminal Trespass to Real Property: Anna H. Metodieva, 45, of 907 Williams St., Westmont, was arrested and charged after tresspassing on a backyard on the 4200 block of Hampton Avenue and refusing to leave. (Second arrest.)

Saturday, Nov. 12, 7:13 a.m.; Driving While License Suspended, No Insurance, Speeding: Kimberly L. Edmond, 37, of 16W518 Honeysuckle Fox Ln., Willowbrook, was stopped for speeding on the 4600 block of Gilbert Avenue and charged with driving with a suspended license.

Saturday, Nov. 12, 12:43 p.m., Disorderly Conduct: Anna H. Metodieva, 45, of 907 Williams St., Westmont, was issued a local ordinance citation for causing a "minor customer disturbance" in the Burlington Street Starbucks. (Third arrest.)

Saturday, Nov. 12, 4:28 p.m., No Valid Driver's License, Speeding, No Red Taillights: Jose Hernandez, 27, of 5233 S. Homan Ave., Chicago, was stopped for speeding over the posted limit and was charged with driving without a valid license.

Saturday, Nov. 12, 8:14 p.m., DUI Alcohol, Improper Lane Usage, Driving in Wrong Lane, No Insurance: Ernestine Sirgedas, 48, of 125 Acacia Circle #701, Indian Head Park, was stopped on the 4700 block of Wolf Road for driving in the wrong lane. After the officer noticed signs of inebriation, the defendant was offered, and performed, sobriety tests, and was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and for having no car insurance.
