Tuesday, Nov. 1, 4:32 p.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft: Someone illegally entered an unlocked vehicle at the Western Springs Recreation Center sometime between 4:15 and 4:20 p.m. and stole a purse containing various personal documents. The value of the purse and its contents was not estimated.

Tuesday, Nov. 1, 4:41 p.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Theft: Someone illegally entered an unlocked parked car in the parking lot at the Grand Avenue Community Center and stole a purse containing personal documents and $10 in cash. The total value of the purse was $350.
Tuesday, Nov. 1, 4:52 p.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Vehicle, Theft: Someone smashed the window of a locked car parked on the 4000 block of Forest Avenue, outside Laidlaw Elementary sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. and stole a canvas bag containing various personal documents. The bag was valued at $50.

Tuesday, Nov. 1, 4:52 p.m.; Burglary to Motor Vehicle, Criminal Damage to Vehicle, Theft: Someone smashed the window of a locked car parked in the Grand Avenue Community Center lot sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. and stole a purse containing a wallet and various personal documents. The value of the stolen items was not estimated.
Sunday, Nov. 6, 4:09 a.m.; Criminal Damage to Vehicle: Someone used a large rock to intentionally smash the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 3800 block of Franklin Avenue sometime between 4:00 a.m. and 4:09 a.m. Contents of the vehicle were undisturbed. The replacement cost for the window was not estimated.
Sunday, Nov. 6, 8:12 a.m.; Criminal Damage to Vehicle: Someone used a large rock to intentionally smash the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway on the 4100 block of Franklin Avenue sometime between 6:30 p.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. on Sunday. Contents of the vehicle were undisturbed. The replacement cost for the window is estimated at $500.

Friday, Nov. 4, 4:38 p.m.; Possession of Cannabis: After police were called to a "family disturbance" on the 1300 block of Walnut Street, a 16-year-old Western Springs boy was issued a local ordinance citation for possession of marijuana.
