Police Blotter: Treehouse Vandalized, Computer Stolen from Commonwealth

April 4, 5:55 p.m.; Criminal Damage to Property: Someone damaged a treehouse in the backyard of a home on the 4000 block of Garden Avenue sometime between March 24 and April 4. The damage and cost of the vandalism were not specified.
April 5, 8:25 p.m.; Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, Theft: An unknown person forced entry through the rear door of an unoccupied townhouse on the 5400 block of Commonwealth Avenue sometime between 5:45 a.m. and 8:15 p.m.. The perpetrator stole a desktop computer and several jewelry items. The cost of the stolen items was not estimated.

April 6, 5:55 p.m.: Jose L. Ocampo, 18, of 1512 N. Central Park Ave., Chicago, was stopped for speeding at the corner of Ogden Avenue and Central Avenue and arrested for driving with a suspended license.
April 9, 8:00 p.m.; Posession of Drug Paraphenalia, Posession of Cannabis, Speeding, Disobeyed Traffic Control Device: Adam C. Satala, 21, of 513 Beach Ave., La Grange Park, was stopped on the 900 block of Burlington Avenue for disobeying a traffic control device; police smelled an odor of marijuana from inside the car and arrested the defendant for posession of cannabis and posession of a cannabis-smoking pipe.
