Police Blotter: Two Dominick's Shoplifters, Please Get Out of My Foyer

Incidents/Reports

Monday, Feb. 7, 11:00 a.m.; Theft: A cell phone worth $450 was reportest stolen from a backpack at Lyons Township High School South Campus.

Monday, Feb. 7, 11:39 a.m.; Theft: A resident on the 1100 block of Ridge Lane reported unspecified items of unspecified value missing. The theft report was delayed.

Monday, Feb. 14, 11:50 a.m.; Attempted Residential Burglary: A resident on the 5100 block of Commonwealth Avenue reported that she found two women standing in the foyer of her home. The suspects left, and nothing has yet been found missing.

Charges/Citations

Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2:11 p.m.; Retail Theft, Battery: Mary Guido, 52, of 8607 W. 95th St., Hickory Hills, was arrested after leaving the Dominick's grocery store without paying for several packages of steak worth $99.25. She was also charged with battery.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 3:07 p.m.; Theft: A 56-year-old Countryside woman was issued a local ordinance citation after exiting Dominick's with "deli items, alcohol, and a vacuum sealer for wine bottles," cumulatively worth $86.65, without paying.

Wednesday, Feb. 10, 10:54 p.m.; Possession of Cannabis: A 20-year-old Clarendon Hills man was issued a local ordinance citation at the 500 block of Burlington Avenue for possessing less than 2.5 grams of marijuana.

Sunday, Feb. 13, 10:23 p.m.; Posession of Cannabis, No Valid Driver's License, DUI Warrant: Two men were stopped on the 5100 block of Gilbert Avenue and arrested for multiple violations. William Wisch, 29, of 645 N. Park Road, La Grange Park, was arrested for possession of marijuana and having an outstanding DUI warrant. Joshua Arredondo, 20, of 1324 S. Cicero Ave, Cicero, was arrested for possesion of marijana and for driving without a license.
